Health & Safety consultancy & prequalification help

We don't just tell you how to complete SiteWise, Tōtika, IMPAC, SHE and Prequal — we manage the prequalification submission with you. Our standard prequalification service works from an eSafety H&S manual, whether you already have one or purchase a new one. We know the content, where to find it and how to use it alongside your real workplace records. We review the evidence before uploading it and work with you through the assessment. Site inspections, safety meetings, implementation support and incident investigations are also available separately.

Health & Safety Consultancy

Support that fits the job

Work with experienced New Zealand health and safety consultants when you need help with your documentation, safety systems or on-site requirements. Consultancy is quoted separately from H&S manuals and App subscriptions. Contact us for advice and pricing.

SiteWise, Tōtika, IMPAC, SHE & Prequal help

Our normal prequalification service is based on an eSafety H&S manual. Because we know our manuals inside out, we can quickly locate the relevant policies, procedures and risk-register content, then identify the completed workplace records the assessor needs. We check evidence from the Word forms supplied with the manual or, with your permission, retrieve it directly from your eSafety App before uploading it. Using a manual from another provider requires a separate, more extensive review and is quoted at a substantially higher rate if accepted. The independent assessor determines the final result.

Site inspections

On-site inspections with a full report.

Safety meetings

Safety meetings on site or virtually using Teams, Zoom or similar.

Policy & system implementation

Support putting your H&S manual, policies, risk registers and procedures into practice, whether you already have a system or have purchased an eSafety manual.

Fire drills

Fire drills with a report.

Incident investigations

Advice and support following incidents, including investigation, reporting and whether an event may need notification.

Service plans

Regular consultancy support tailored to the site, which can include safety meetings, inspections, fire drills and incident investigations.

Site visits

Consultants are available for on-site support where required.

Prequalification service

We do the paperwork with you, right through to the result

Our team has completed 400+ client prequalifications. For SiteWise, Tōtika, IMPAC, SHE and Prequal, our standard service starts with an eSafety H&S manual. We know exactly where the relevant policies and forms are, so time goes into checking your actual safety evidence and preparing a proper submission rather than untangling unfamiliar documentation. The eSafety App is optional: you can supply completed Word forms instead.

1. Start with an eSafety manual

If you already have an eSafety H&S manual, we use it. If not, you can purchase one suited to your work and risks. We know our systems and where the required material is, so we can efficiently prepare the policy and procedure evidence for the application.

2. We identify the missing evidence

We work through the assessment requirements and tell you which completed forms and real workplace records we still need.

3. We check it before uploading

Send us the completed Word forms supplied with your eSafety manual, or give us authorised access to your eSafety App and we can retrieve the records needed from there. We check everything, ask for corrections or further detail where needed, and upload the evidence once we're satisfied.

4. We work through to completion

We manage the supporting documentation and respond to further evidence requirements with you as the application progresses. Once you've passed the prequalification, we invoice the remaining balance of our service fee.

50% upfront. 50% after you pass.

For a business with around five people using an eSafety H&S manual, our prequalification assistance averages $1,050 including GST in total: $525 including GST upfront to get started, and the remaining $525 including GST invoiced once the prequalification has been passed. The final quote depends on the business and assessment requirements.

Already have a suitable eSafety manual? You only need to pay for the prequalification assistance. Need a new manual too? For example, a Standard eSafety H&S manual with your company logo added is $990 including GST. Add the typical $1,050 including GST prequalification assistance fee for a five-person business, and the combined example is $2,040 including GST for the manual and hands-on prequalification support. Extra risk modules or other optional extras can change the final manual price. The manual and assistance are purchased separately.

Better value when you stay with eSafety: Returning customers who continue using eSafety receive a 30% discount on their two-yearly H&S manual updates. That discount applies to the manual update, not to prequalification assistance or the optional eSafety App subscription.

We can keep the service efficient because we know exactly how our manuals are structured. If you want us to work from another provider's manual, we must review and verify that material first; we assess those requests individually and quote substantially more due to the extra work. We don't charge the second half of the standard assistance fee until you've passed. The independent prequalification provider controls the assessment and final grading.

More than an App

H&S manuals, software and real consultancy

eSafety provides personalised New Zealand Health & Safety manuals and systems with relevant policies, procedures, risk-register content and Word forms. Our Health & Safety App helps businesses manage day-to-day records such as inspections, incidents, worker training, JSAs, SWMS and safety meetings. And when you want a person to assist with SiteWise, Tōtika, IMPAC, SHE, implementation or audits, our consultancy service is available separately. Our normal prequalification service uses eSafety manuals; other manuals require separate assessment and pricing. The App is optional, and manuals and consultancy are not included in an App subscription.
